With almost 15 years of drone experience from agriculture, mining and various GIS projects, Felix was an early adapter in applying new technologies like mapping drones to collect data. This has aided in better management practices in farming and various industries. He has been successfully farming for over 20 years, keeping his passion for agriculture front and centre. Felix founded Ag Business & Crop Inc. as a Technical Agrologist (T.Ag) and founder/Vice President of CartoCanada Inc., making new technology accessible to any user. ABC is built around innovative technology that compliments each other. They carry products ranging from mapping drones to application/spray drones and automated soil samplers, all with the end goal of precision agriculture.
ABC holds awards such as the regional winner of The Globe and Mail Small Business Competition. Felix was named the first recipient of the Builders Award at the Precision Ag Eastern Conference. He holds his grower’s pesticide license and is an Advanced Agriculture Leadership Alumni of Class ‘18 of the Rural Ontario Institute. In conjunction with bringing innovative technology to the agriculture industry, he is also working with his sons as they begin their farming careers.
