Justin began his career with the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) as a Border Services Officer and has over 25 years of experience in supply chain and transportation security. Since joining Transport Canada in 2009, he has had significant involvement in the design, development, and implementation of Canada’s National Air Cargo Security Program, including leading Transport Canada’s foreign air cargo security program. As Chief of Aviation Security Policy on the RPAS Task Force, Justin is tasked with leading the development of a National RPAS Security program in Canada. The focus of this work is to establish a national program to address the risk posed by malicious or unauthorized drones to the aviation system. Over the past few years Justin has become a subject matter expert in the field of drone security policy and has worked closely with various international and domestic stakeholders to establish Canada’s policy position on this emerging trend.
