Dr. Iraj Mantegh is a Sr. Research Office and Technology Lead at the National Research Council of Canada’s Aerospace Research Centre. He currently leads a research team in the areas of Counter UAS and Airspace Integration, and has co-developed novel AI-enabled technologies for drone detection and tracking and navigation. He is a recipient of three NRC Achievement Awards, and the author or co-author of over one hundred research publications and three patents in the fields of robotics and drones. He is also an adjunct professor in three major Canadian universities and holds a Ph.D. in Robotics and MBA in General Management.
