Suzy is the 911 Training & Quality Assurance Supervisor with the Nova Scotia Emergency Management Office (NSEMO) and training lead for NG9-1-1. Her career has included 911 call taking, and dispatching police, fire, and medical for agencies in Nova Scotia and Ontario. In 2022, she founded the Canadian National NG9-1-1 Training Collective after recognizing the need for trainers to collaborate across the country and share resources and was the recipient of the APCO 2023 Trainer of the Year award.
