Laura is part of the Communications Training Team at Peel Regional Police. Laura began her career in Communications as a Call Taker and Dispatcher, but it was in training those new to these roles that she found her passion. Since joining the Communications Training unit in 2021, Laura has played an important role in the implementation of various projects within the Communications Centre. In 2022, Laura assisted with development and training of new CAD system. Most recently, Laura was the training lead for Peel Regional Police’s transition to NG911 and implementation of a new call handling solution.
