As CEO of Blueberry River Resources, Lori leads the development and management of business opportunities that benefit Blueberry River First Nations and its Members now and for generations to come.
With 11 years as Mayor of Fort St. John, Lori is a passionate community champion, bringing a wealth of experience in business management, resource development, community infrastructure, and stakeholder engagement. She holds long-standing and positive relationships with northeastern BC First Nations and local industry and government and is well placed to advance the business interests of the Nation through diverse mutually beneficial partnerships and capacity building opportunities.
Lori has represented many local, regional, and provincial boards and committees to raise awareness of critical issues and support community success initiatives. She has been recognized as one of the Top 35 Most Influential Women in BC by BC Business Magazine and as well as 2019 Canadian Energy Person of the Year by the Energy Council of Canada.
Lori has a diploma in Business Management and is a graduate of the Institute of Corporate Directors’ Governance Essentials Program. Born in Manitoba, Lori settled in the Peace region in 1980. Outside of work, Lori and her husband Andy enjoy spending time with their six children and soon to be 15 grandchildren.
