Dr. Benmeddour is a senior scientist at the Aerodynamics Laboratory (AL) of the Aerospace Research Centre (ARC) of the National Research Council Canada (NRC). Dr. Benmeddour is also a supervisor of the AL CFD Group and the Technology Leader of the Operating Environment thrust of the NRC Integrated Aerial Mobility Program (NRC-IAM). His areas of expertise and interest are computational and experimental modelling and simulation of external aerodynamics. For the last decade, his research has been mainly focused on studying icing of RPAS and developing an effective ice protection system for RPAS based on the icephobic coating technology.
