The peer support sessions are designed to illustrate the unique experiences and needs of public safety communicators due to their continuous exposure to the traumas of others. The facilitators will discuss the importance of supportive conversations and how to have them. They will also be covering topics such as vicarious trauma, moral injury, and the importance of trauma-informed support.
