Speaker Bio
Jeremy is both a lawyer and RPF. He practices corporate and commercial law, with a focus on commercial agreements, mergers and acquisitions, corporate structures, and reorganizations. Jeremy specializes in corporate governance and forestry law and is general counsel to several First Nations clients.

With a strong background in the natural resource sector, Jeremy regularly advises on corporate and regulatory matters that intersect with forestry and resource development. As a registered professional forester, he brings a practical understanding of BC’s regulatory landscape and applies this expertise to support his clients. Some examples of his forestry-specific work include tenure transactions, fibre supply agreements, woods services agreements, statutory interpretation, and C&E OTBHs under FRPA.

Jeremy’s works almost exclusively with Indigenous governments and economic development entities, as well as a growing number of community forest organizations. Often this work is opposite major resource companies and government. This perspective, combined with his technical knowledge of natural resource management, enables him to provide well-rounded and thoughtful strategic advice on complex legal and business matters. He is recognized by Chambers Canada as a leading practitioner in agribusiness law.
