Mr. Bunker is a 50+ year public safety veteran, recently retired from the State of Maine, serving as the manager of statewide training and certification for all dispatchers. His career included military and municipal law enforcement, EMS, firefighting, corrections and 911 dispatching. He now consults on 911 litigation and has been certified as an expert witness. He is a Senior member of APCO International and received their 2009 Trainer of the Year award. He is a board member of the Atlantic Chapter of APCO. He has previously presented at APCO Canada, Intl APCO, Navigator and NENA conferences. He is al so member of NENA and the IAED. He is retired from the US Coast Guard as a Lt. CDR.
