During this session, we’ll explore how to recognize and respond to toxic workplace behaviors, separating occasional negativity from persistent patterns such as gossip, undermining colleagues, avoiding accountability, or bullying. We’ll examine how toxicity damages trust and morale, increases turnover and absenteeism, and creates stress that undermines performance and culture. Participants will leave with practical strategies for coworkers, and supervisors will gain guidance on setting clear expectations, intervening early, and enforcing accountability. We’ll also discuss how to foster healthier teams through respect, fairness, consistent feedback, and recognition of positive behavior.
