"In this presentation session, attendees will learn about the PSPNET digital mental health service. PSPNET is a not-for-profit and university-based mental health service that is tailored to Public Safety Personnel, including Public-Safety Communications Officials. PSPNET offers a convenient, no-cost, and waitlist-free opportunity to obtain access to high quality and evidence-based therapeutic techniques. 

The presentation will begin with providing an overview of how the PSPNET service operates. Attendees will then learn about the different programs available through PSPNET such as the Wellbeing, PTSD, and Sleep Course as well as the core features of the PSPNET service. A review of the evidence regarding PSPNET uptake, client outcomes, and satisfaction rates will also be discussed.

This discussion comes at an important time, due to the many challenges that Public-Safety Communications Officials face in the line of duty. It can be difficult to talk about mental health struggles and even more difficult to find a mental health service that specializes in providing services to Public-Safety Personnel. Therefore, hosting a presentation focused on the mental health services that PSPNET provides may fill an important gap in mental health education and awareness."
