Chair ISO Canadian Committee
Mark Aruja served in the Canadian Armed Forces as an aviator and holding a broad range of senior responsibilities over 32 years. At the end of his career, he led the first large-scale experiments in the CF with RPAS technologies. He subsequently worked in the aerospace industry for 12 years. Upon his second retirement he was elected Chairman of Unmanned Systems Canada, a position he held for four years. Subsequently he was nominated to lead the creation and chair the Canadian ISO RPAS Standards committee.
