Crystal started her career as an Accounts Receivable Clerk while attending night school to earn her Payroll Certificate. After her education, she joined the Emil Anderson Group in 2007 as an entry-level Accounts Payable Clerk in their housing division and quickly ascended to a supervisory position. Despite her youth and relative inexperience, the CFO recognized her potential and offered her an opportunity to demonstrate her capabilities. Throughout her tenure, Crystal embraced every challenge, adapted to various circumstances, and played a crucial role in managing her company's significant growth from 2007 to 2014. After seven years in accounting, her interpersonal skills and dedication to the company's ethos led to her appointment as Human Resources Coordinator. Under her leadership, the HR department expanded from one to three people, and Crystal eventually became the HR Manager. After seven years in this role, she transitioned to become the Director of Employee Engagement and later the Director of Executive Services. As the Chair of the Women of Emil Anderson Group committee, and a mentor in the Kelowna Women in Business, Crystal is committed to empowering women both within and beyond the construction industry.
