Part of the Ministry of Forests policy intentions paper was to get more value out of what we process, compared to volume. In 2022, the Forests Minister challenged industry to come up with solutions on how we do this. This session will present two perspectives on how this is working, what is underway, and also share ideas that value is more than just price, number of jobs, or volume produced in a manufacturing facility. Suggestions on how we go forward as a forest sector will be shared.
