Born and Raised in Mission, Chris joined the Forestry Department for the Mission Municipal Forest in November 2018. Chris started as the Manager of Forestry Business for the Department, and became the Director of Forestry at the end of June, 2019. Chris has 24 years of Forestry experience, covering a variety of disciplines. Prior to joining the Forestry Department at the City, Chris owned a small Forestry Consulting Business, Cascadia Environmental Services Ltd., that specialized in managing Forest Tenures for First Nations, Communities, and Families. He is a strong proponent of Community Forestry, and very much appreciates the opportunity to serve his Community.
