Robin Modesto, MBA, RPF, P.Eng. (Non-practising), is employed with Interfor Corporation as BC forestry manager. In this role, he is responsible for forest management matters for coast and Interior business units. Robin’s primary focus is the disposition of coastal woodlands forestry tenures and fulfilment of legacy obligations.
Robin will celebrate his 30th year with Interfor in 2025. Over his career, he has built experience in many aspects natural resource management, including strategic and operational planning, forest operations, log sorting, timber transportation, timber pricing, EMS certification, and First Nations partnerships.
Robin is a past-president of Forest Professionals of British Columbia (FPBC) and remains on the nominations committee. He volunteers on the board of the 100-year-old Tyee Club of BC.
Robin holds a bachelor of science degree in forest engineering from the University of New Brunswick (1995), and a master’s of business administration from SFU (2005). He obtained his RPF designation in 1997.
