Len Apedaile, RPF, is the general manager for Tiičma Forestry LP and has been working with the Kyuquot/Checleseht Nations (KCFN) since 2016, initially as a consultant to their woodlots and in a full-time capacity since 2021.
Len is a graduate of the University of New Brunswick forest engineering program and the University of Oxford. He has 38 years of professional experience on the BC coast and in various jurisdictions across Canada and overseas.
He began his career with MacMillan Bloedel, including a formative five years on Haida Gwaii, which laid the groundwork for a career long interest in community and First Nations forestry.
Len spent 25 years as a partner with Econ Consulting, working for woodlot licensees and landowners across the coast, including several First Nations.
As general manager for Tiičma Forestry, his focus has been on tenure acquisition and on realizing KCFN’s vision to re-assert stewardship and derive resource and economic benefits from throughout the entire territories.
