Sofia Morales is the Executive Director, People and Services, at BC Infrastructure Benefits (BCIB), a B.C. Crown corporation. BCIB is the employer of skilled tradespeople on some of the largest infrastructure projects in the province. Sofia oversees all People Services for BCIB, including Human Resources, Labour Relations matters that include employee investigations and health and safety affairs, and BCIB’s Workforce Planning and Placement division, which recruits and supports skilled tradespeople employees. Sofia also supports BCIB’s Executives on HR and People Strategy.
Ms. Morales was one of the first employees to join BCIB and supported the standing up of the new Crown corporation. As a seasoned HR leader with more than 20 years of people management experience in both the private and public sectors, Sofia is experienced at implementing various initiatives and applying effective processes across multiple projects.
