Kate Pataran is the Canadian ECC Engagement Manager at RapidSOS, where she supports agencies with access to life-saving additional data. She began her career in 2003 with the Halton Regional Police Service Communications Bureau, serving in a variety of frontline and leadership roles. In 2022, she earned her Emergency Number Professional (ENP) designation and was elected to the NENA Ontario executive. Kate remains actively involved in 9-1-1 advocacy, as well as the development of standards and training initiatives across Canada.
