Kim Rigden has worked in emergency services for 30+ years as a paramedic, EMD, trainer, EDQ, supervisor, manager, commander, and director. Kim has worked in the largest geographical and the largest urban EMS systems in Canada and supported 911/999/000/112 agencies around the world. Kim is a sought-after speaker on subjects such as Psychology in 911, Strengths Bases Feedback, Quality Assurance, Accreditation and the Science of Well-being at conferences around the world. She is one of only 15 certified VIA Strengths-Based Workplace Consultants in the world as well as a certified Psychological Health & Safety assessor. She has an honors degree in psychology and is completing her Master of Science degree in Applied Positive Psychology. Kim is the founder and CEO of Safety Net Consulting which provides assessments and training in Psychosocial Safety & Care and Strengths-Based Cultures. When she is not supporting 9-1-1 organizations, Kim can be found walking along the beach with her dog, Mr. Darcy.
