Dr Yang is a Pediatric Intensivist at Victoria General Hospital and Clinical Assistant Professor with the University of British Columbia (UBC) Faculty of Medicine. She has trained and worked in both urban and rural areas of BC for over 10 years, and is now based in Victoria. What drew her to pediatric critical care was the ability to put resuscitation science into action and being able to help families navigate the uncertainties of critical illness. Outside of clinical work, she is an active member of the medical education community, including teaching PALS courses and leadership roles with the UBC MD undergraduate program.
