Dr. Kaveh Arjomandi is a Professional Engineer and Professor of Civil Engineering at the University of New Brunswick, where he leads the Smart Structures Research Lab. His research focuses on structural health monitoring, system identification, infrastructure digital twins, and the application of artificial intelligence to civil infrastructure systems. His work combines advanced sensing technologies, in-situ vibration testing, and data analytics to assess the condition and performance of large-scale structures, including buildings, bridges, and dams. Dr. Arjomandi has led numerous research and industry collaborations involving critical infrastructure, with the goal of improving safety, resilience, and asset management through non-destructive monitoring and condition assessment methods.
