Carlos is a Senior Civil Engineer with 18 years of experience in mine environment, tailings, and water management projects in Canada and internationally.
Carlos has been involved in modeling and design of water conveyance and retention structures, storm water management facilities, floodplain delineation, site-wide water balances, dam breach and inundation assessments, geotechnical analysis, geotechnical investigations and in situ testing, construction supervision, and dam safety inspections and reviews for the mining sector.

Carlos manages multi-disciplinary projects, including projects from initial assessment through to construction, and technically specializes in dam safety, tailings planning and staging, hydrotechnical design, water balance assessments and dam breach and inundation assessments.
