Leonardo Miranda is a Ph.D. candidate in Structural Engineering at the University of New Brunswick, Canada, where his research focuses on Structural Health Monitoring and structural dynamics of dam structures, integrating artificial intelligence into Operational Modal Analysis for automated modal tracking and long-term condition assessment. Leonardo recently defended his first Ph.D. thesis in Civil Engineering at the State University of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, where his research focused on the dynamic analysis of high-rise buildings under wind loading, incorporating soil-structure interaction and CFD-based pressure coefficients.
