Jean-Samuel Poirier is a Product Manager at KorrAI, where he leads TRAIL- an AI-powered workspace that combines satellite monitoring, known credible failure modes, and engineering documentation for continuous risk assessment of tailings facilities, dams, and closure sites. He works closely with geotechnical engineers and mining operators to turn fragmented site data into usable risk insight, with a focus on traceable, defensible outputs that stand up to regulatory scrutiny.
Jean came to AI from the reclamation and risk side of the sector, spending several years as a management consultant advising governments and mineral-resource projects on environmental compliance, regulatory risk, and community benefit agreements. Jean is passionate about advancing technology to help organizations better understand evolving site conditions and make more informed, proactive decisions.
