Joshua Macy, RFT, works as a land and resource specialist with the BC Wildfire Service. He has a 20-year background in wildland fire management and prescribed fire operations. His career has been in roles bridging front-line fire suppression, leadership in the fire service, and coordinating land management objectives.

Joshua’s work includes facilitating team coordination, providing technical expertise for partners, and applying best practices for environmental and safety compliance.

Joshua also contributes to broader fire management strategies and policy development within BC, drawing on both operational and technical forestry knowledge.

As a Registered Forest Technologist, he values practical solutions to big problems and sensible stewardship in the context of todays wildland fire landscape.
