Thierry is an experienced business lawyer and former executive with over two decades of expertise in joint ventures in the construction and natural resources industries, mergers and acquisitions, and large-scale investment transactions across Canada, the United States, and internationally. He has acted on over $40 billion in investments and joint ventures, bringing deep operational experience from leadership roles at Whistler Blackcomb and QuadReal Property Group, and practicing business law with Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP in Montreal and Farris LLP in Vancouver.

Thierry was instrumental in selling Whistler Blackcomb (then a TSX independently listed company) to Vail Resorts for a 53.9% premium and building out QuadReal's international business through joint ventures and partnerships in Canada, the United States, Australia, Asia, and Europe. He spent three years as President of a U.S.-based joint venture company headquartered in Chicago with accountability for 500 employees and $5 billion in assets under management. Thierry now assists clients with navigating the complexities of running and growing their businesses.

Thierry has a Bachelor of Civil Laws from Universite Laval in Quebec City, a Juris Doctor from the University of Victoria, and a Master of Business Administration from the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto.

Thierry is part of the McLean & Armstrong team based in West Vancouver and is an avid backcountry skier and surfer when not spending time with his family.
