Ken is a licensed 427A Sprinkler and Fire Protection Installer for over 30 years. Ken was elected as the Skilled Trades Chairperson at his workplace until assuming the responsibilities as a National Skilled Trades Coordinator for Unifor. As a National Coordinator, one of his many responsibilities is overseeing the Women in Skilled Trades program for Unifor, one that he truly believes in. He believes that helping Women to see the benefits of becoming a Tradesperson and removing barriers to achieve that goal are key elements in helping to address the current skills shortage in Canada.
