Antoniette is a millwright and works for National Defence. She currently calls the unceded territories of Llwungen People, Songhees & Esquimalt First Nations communities her home (colonially know as Victoria, B.C.). She completed her millwright apprenticeship all over bc from shutdowns, maintenance and construction on sites like BC Hydro Turbines, Coal & Shipyards, Oil & Gas, Food & Production and now is at National Defense working on cranes all the way to submarines and warships. She is a director for the BC Women in Tradeswomen Society, part of the BC Women in Trades Leaders in Training program, a coach with the CAF-FCA National Leadership Development Program and a speaker with the WORBE Program. She comes from technical web development & design background and holds a degree in Leadership from Mount Royal University. Her past endeavors (ranging from permaculture to firefighting) have helped to motivate her to create a space for those seeking mentorship, and leadership where they can be supported and seen. As a leader she’s learned these are keys that foster great success.
