Laura Jo Gunter became NAIT’s seventh – and first female – President and CEO on August 24, 2020. An innovative leader, she brings extensive post-secondary knowledge and an entrepreneurial spirit to her role. She has also given her time to advancing skills development and post-secondary education and to improving the communities in which she has lived in. At NAIT she has been leading the development of the Advanced Skills Centre. This Centre will address Alberta’s critical need for skilled workers by focusing on high-demand programs and offering interdisciplinary learning.
