This presentation aims to explore the evolution of civic addressing in Canada and how this location information Is vital to our NextGen 9-1-1 transition. It will discuss challenges and opportunities facing PSAPs, addressing authorities, and first responders and how many of them can be overcome with more accurate and complete GIS mapping data. We'll also provide a glimpse into the future of location with detailed addressing on large sites and campuses, and how this could help with MLTS systems.
