Sharon Koch is a Senior Consultant at Esri Canada. She helps organizations get ready for NG9-1-1 from a GIS data perspective. She is involved with Canada's Emergency Services Working Group preparing for NG9-1-1, and co-chairing TIF94 which is building a roadmap for Basic 9-1-1 areas to transition to NG9-1-1 and TIF91 Additional Data Considerations. She has over twenty years experience in public safety having spent many years answering calls, dispatching, supervising, working on projects, and has a huge desire to help fill in some of the gaps that currently exist with mapping data.
