Description
Over the past year, highly disruptive cyberattacks have increasingly threatened public safety agencies' integrity and availability by compromising computer-aided dispatch (CAD) and Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) systems. Recent ransomware attacks have directly impacted P25 networks and reported LMR compromises at public safety agencies in the last year caused an average of seven days of downtime to mission-critical systems. With the rise in cybercrime against public safety agencies, it is more important than ever to learn how to protect your mission-critical systems against cyber attacks. Protecting communities starts with protecting mission-critical systems and networks. This session offers insights on the current cybersecurity landscape, trends and threat actor motives in Canadian Public Safety. Our panelists will also discuss best practices, lessons learned, and what Canadian Public Safety organizations can do to protect their mission critical operations. |
