Peter Quosai has held the position of Director of Environment at West Fraser Timber since 2020. He is responsible for climate programs and environmental compliance and improvement across 63 manufacturing locations in Canada, the US, the UK, and Europe.
Prior to joining West Fraser, Peter was Director of Environment, Health, Safety and Sustainability at Norbord Inc. In his 30 years in the forest products business, Peter has managed and implemented a broad range of EHS&S programs including: EHS auditing programs, environmental site assessment, sustainable forest management certification, major incident investigation, the development of EHS performance standards, and the production of company sustainability reports.
Over the past 10 years, Peter’s work has focused on developing interdependent and accountable team cultures to effect lasting organizational change and deliver safe and sustainable workplaces.
Peter graduated from the University of Waterloo in 1993 with a Bachelor of Environmental Studies and lives and works in the Greater Toronto area.
