Morgan Boghean, RFT, is a wildfire prevention officer with the BC Wildfire Service (BCWS).
Morgan began his wildfire career in 2004 as an initial attack crew member in northern Alberta. Over the years, he has gained extensive experience in various roles and holds certifications as a Type 2 fire behavior specialist, operations section chief, origin and cause specialist, and prescribed burn boss.
Morgan is currently working toward certification as an ignitions specialist. For the past two years, Morgan has served as a wildfire prevention officer with the fuels management team, where he leads fuel management monitoring and effectiveness projects.
