Mike Sakakibara has been in the forest industry for more than 29 years, with his entire career spent at West Fraser in Quesnel. He started his forestry working life as an operations supervisor in 1995, then moved into planning in 2004, and became the divisional planning superintendent in 2015.
Mike has a diploma in forest technology from the BCIT and a bachelor's degree in forest management from UBC.
