Terrence Paul is a proud Dakelh individual from Nazko, a small community approximately 100 km west of Quesnel. Fluent in the Dakelh language, Terrence has dedicated his life to preserving and advancing the interests of his community while maintaining a deep connection to his culture and heritage.

Terrence has been an employee of Nazko First Nation since 2021, working in the referrals department. With nearly three decades of experience in the forestry industry, his career has spanned silviculture, forestry operations, and administrative roles, providing him with a well-rounded perspective on the sector.

In addition to his professional contributions, Terrence serves as chair for Nazko Economic Development Corporation, playing a pivotal role in fostering sustainable economic opportunities for his community. He is also an active committee member on the Quesnel Forest Landscape Planning pilot program, a role he has held for the past three years.

Terrence’s extensive experience and dedication to community-driven forestry initiatives underscore his commitment to balancing economic development with environmental stewardship, ensuring that future generations can benefit from the lands and resources that sustain the Dakelh people.
