Stephanie Flynn is employed by BC Wildfire Service as a wildfire technician – prevention working on the HQ Fuels management team under Morgan Boghean, RFT, and Pete Laing, RFT.

Her wildfire career started with six seasons on various crew types, with the majority spent on the Whitecourt Unit Crew for Alberta Wildfire. She also spent time in industry as a tree planter, followed by working as part of a layout crew on the BC coast.

Stephanie is currently studying part-time to finish her BSc in environmental practice at Royal Roads University, with plans to pursue registration as an ASFIT with Forest Professionals British Columbia upon completion of her degree.
