Manitoba Construction Sector Council (MCSC) and the Manitoba Status of Women in partnership with Indigenous communities are advancing the number of Indigenous women employed in the construction sector across the province. Indigenous women are traditionally builders and leaders in community. The women are the apprentices who are taught by elders and experienced leaders. The classroom of construction is outdoors where learning is continuous. This collaboration is best told through the stories of our journey together with the women we support.
