This session will lead a discussion specifically identifying how outdated regulations or policies (staffing mandates, training timelines, retention laws) can unintentionally harm PSAP performance. We will focus on actual dispatcher quotes, timelines, policy snippets—and show how smarter policies can improve performance and PSAP culture. Enforcing policy is important but let’s advocate for policy alignment first and foremost.
