This presentation will introduce the principals of risk management as an essential skill for communications center managers. Attendees will understand the benefits of risk management in the four areas such as Financial, Operational, Compliance and Reputation. Attendees will learn the steps in risk mitigation and the value of tabletop exercises. Further discussion will cove the 10 common areas of risk in public safety agencies. Attendees will receive a sample template for documentation of the centers risk and mitigation plan.
