Shawn Naraine is a professional based in Toronto, Ontario, with extensive experience in emergency management and communications. He currently serves as the Superintendent of Special Projects in the Central Ambulance Communications Centre with Toronto Paramedic Services.

Naraine has also been recognized for his contributions to emergency services. In 2019, he received the Emergency Medical Dispatcher (EMD) of the Year Award for his exemplary work and leadership at Toronto Paramedic Services. He holds a certificate in Emergency Management and Response Planning from Toronto Metropolitan University, and completed a Master’s in Disaster and Emergency Management from York University.

Additionally, Naraine has contributed to community safety initiatives with local educational institutions, and recently began his role in the Planning section of Toronto's Heavy Urban Search & Recue (HUSAR) team. He has also served as an instructor at Seneca Polytechnic for several years, teaching in the 911 Communications program.
