Lucas Wazney is a Water Resources Engineer with KGS Group, specializing in hydraulic and hydrologic engineering with a focus on dam safety. He has participated in numerous dam safety reviews across Canada, serving in key hydrotechnical roles that include hydrologic assessments, hydraulic modeling and analyses, and risk-informed evaluations. His experience includes facilitating FMEA workshops and emergency response plan tabletop exercises, as well as conducting dam breach modeling, dam classification, and flood handling and freeboard assessments in accordance with the CDA Dam Safety Guidelines.
