Description
The new National Standard of Canada, CSA Z301, is designed to requirements and guidelines to support equity, diversity, inclusion and accessibility in apprenticeship. The Standard provides EDIA principles and strategies to organizations that assist equity-deserving groups to succeed in the trades at each stage of the apprenticeship journey. The Standard is applicable to all aspects of apprenticeship including pre-apprenticeship, classroom learning, mentorship and on-the-job training delivered in an apprenticeable trade. A panel of subject matter experts representing a diverse range of interests will provide an overview of the new standard and insight into the intended application.
